can't VB open files via netwerkpath ? "\\server1\somefile.txt"

get runtime-error 76 path not found ....
don't get how this is possible path is just fine :D

or should i make first a "realisticer" path like virtual drive with "net use x: \\server1\" (or however that command is exactly but you know what i meen now right :P ) so it searches for file on x:\somefile.txt

but still think that would be the same ... thats why i'm wondering if it can't open files via networkpath :D

note to myself, use youre brains instead of youre ass, when youre using remote desktop, it only looks like youre working on "this" computer ... the thing youre connected to isn't in the same network as the computer i'm actually sitting behind :D

copying the file to here and testing again :P
